Whether you’re fixing a small crack, renovating your entire home, or dealing with serious ceiling damage, our skilled team is here to help with precision, care, and expert workmanship.
Cracked Plaster Wall Repairs
Cracks in plaster are common but shouldn’t be ignored. Left untreated, they can worsen with time and may indicate underlying structural issues. We assess each crack to determine its cause and tailor the repair accordingly.
Our cracked wall repair services include:
Diagnosing causes such as soil movement, shrinkage, or moisture exposure
Widening and prepping cracks to accept reinforcement
Using mesh tape or compound to seal and stabilise large cracks
Applying high-quality filler, sanding, and priming
Optional repainting to restore visual consistency
We repair all types of cracks – horizontal, vertical, diagonal, and hairline – to ensure they don’t return.

Hole Patching
From accidental holes to trade access cut-outs, we handle hole patching of all shapes and sizes. A quick patch job can restore your wall’s appearance and protect it from further deterioration.
Typical hole scenarios we fix:
Holes from furniture or door impact
Patching after electrical or plumbing installations
TV bracket or shelving removals
Poor DIY patch-ups
Our approach:
Assess the hole size and choose the appropriate patching method
Use backing boards for support on larger holes
Apply multi-layer patching compounds for strength
Finish with sanding and optional repainting
We aim for a smooth, clean, and nearly invisible patch.
Sagging Ceiling Repairs
Sagging ceilings are not just unsightly – they’re a safety hazard. Whether from water damage, poor adhesive work, or ceiling cavity weight, our ceiling repair process stabilises and restores the structure.
Comprehensive ceiling repair services:
Investigate the root cause (e.g. moisture, insulation weight, poor installation)
Remove affected plasterboard or gyprock
Reinforce ceiling battens and framework
Install new ceiling panels using screws and adhesives to current standards
Flush, tape, and sand joints for a clean surface
Optional cornice repair or reinstallation
We can also advise on ceiling insulation and attic load issues.

Plaster Cornice and Moulding Repairs
Cornices and ceiling mouldings bring character to a space, especially in older Canberra homes. We restore both modern profiles and ornate heritage designs with precision and care.
Cornice & moulding services include:
Re-attaching loose or separating cornices
Repairing damaged joints and gaps
Matching and blending existing cornice styles
Replacing water-damaged sections
Replicating heritage features including ceiling roses, scrollwork, and cornice trims
We use traditional techniques and quality materials to maintain architectural accuracy.
Water Damaged Plaster Repairs
Water intrusion can ruin plaster quickly. We offer emergency and scheduled services to address water-damaged ceilings and walls, treating the root cause and restoring strength and appearance.
Our detailed repair process:
Identify the source (roof leak, burst pipe, condensation)
Carefully remove wet or soft plaster
Fully dry the area and treat for mould or mildew
Install new plasterboard or re-skim affected sections
Sand, seal, and repaint to match existing finish
Whether it’s a minor ceiling stain or widespread moisture damage, we deliver clean, professional results.

About Canberra, ACT
Canberra ( KAN-bər-ə; Ngunawal: Ngambri) is the capital city of Australia. Founded following the federation of the colonies of Australia as the seat of government for the new nation, it is Australia’s largest inland city and the eighth-largest Australian city overall. The city is located at the northern end of the Australian Capital Territory at the northern tip of the Australian Alps, the country’s highest mountain range. As of June 2022, Canberra’s estimated population was 456,692.The area chosen for the capital had been inhabited by Indigenous Australians for up to 21,000 years, with the principal group being the Ngunnawal people. European settlement commenced in the first half of the 19th century, as evidenced by surviving landmarks such as St John’s Anglican Church and Blundells Cottage. On 1 January 1901, federation of the colonies of Australia was achieved. Following a long dispute over whether Sydney or Melbourne should be the national capital, a compromise was reached: the new capital would be built in New South Wales, so long as it was at least 100 mi (160 km) from Sydney. The capital city was founded and formally named as Canberra in 1913. A blueprint by American architects Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahony Griffin was selected after an international design contest, and construction commenced in 1913. Unusual among Australian cities, it is an entirely planned city.
